THIS PRIVACY POLICY APPLIES TO THE WEBSITES AND APPS WHERE IT APPEARS. This Policy (together with our Website Terms of Use) describes how we treat information we collect from or about you on the websites and apps where it is located, and offline where this Policy is referenced. By accessing or using our websites and apps or interacting with us, you acknowledge these practices.

We (and our vendors and service providers) collect, receive, and develop several categories of personal information about you:

• For safety and compliance: To detect fraud (e.g., botting/fake views) and comply with legal obligations.
• To improve our products: To analyze usage trends and improve the Bounty_OS platform.

2.1 Geographic Eligibility Verification

IP Geolocation: We use IP geolocation services to automatically detect your country of residence during account registration. This is required because Bounty_OS is only available in countries where our payment processing partner operates. We currently support 51 countries (see our Creator Terms for the complete list).

Data Stored: We store your registration IP address and detected country in your profile. We also maintain records linking IP addresses to user accounts to prevent abuse and fraudulent multi-account creation.

Why We Collect This: Geographic verification is essential for:

• Ensuring compliance with payment processing regulations
• Preventing fraudulent account creation from unsupported regions
• Limiting the number of accounts created from a single IP address
• Detecting and preventing circumvention attempts (VPNs, proxies)

Important: If you attempt to circumvent location detection (e.g., using a VPN or proxy), your account may be terminated and any pending earnings forfeited. See our Creator Terms for full details.

• Directly from you: When you sign up, participate in a campaign, or contact us.
• From your devices: Using cookies, pixels, and tracking tools.
• From Third Parties: We receive information about you from our third-party data partners, data aggregators, and analytics providers who collect public or authorized data from social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram).

4. Analytics & Session Recording

We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how users interact with our platform. Clarity may record your sessions, including mouse movements, clicks, and scrolling behavior. This data helps us improve user experience and identify usability issues.

You can opt out of Clarity tracking by adjusting your cookie preferences when prompted, or by visiting clarity.microsoft.com/opt-out.

5. We share your information with others.

We share data with the following third-party service providers to operate our platform:

• Stripe: Payment processing and creator payouts (receives: name, email, payout amounts)
• BrightData: Social media data collection and profile verification (receives: public profile URLs)
• Resend: Email delivery service (receives: email address, name)
• Supabase: Database and authentication infrastructure (hosts all platform data)
• Microsoft Clarity: Analytics and session recording (receives: anonymized usage data)

We also share information:

• With Clients (Brands): If you participate in a Client Campaign, we share your performance data and content with that specific Brand/Client.
• With Advertising Partners: For targeted advertising and analytics.
• For Legal Reasons: To comply with court orders, subpoenas, or to protect our rights and safety.

6. You have certain choices about how we use your information.

• Opt-Out of Marketing: You can opt out of marketing emails by following the instructions in the email.
• Cookies: You can control cookies through your browser settings.
• Targeted Advertising: You can opt out of certain targeted advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info/choices.

7. Disconnecting Social Media Accounts

You can stop Bounty_OS from tracking your future metrics by disconnecting your account within the Bounty_OS settings (Settings → Connected Accounts → Disconnect).

Please note that because we use third-party data providers and aggregators that collect publicly available data, Bounty_OS may not appear directly in the "Connected Apps" section of your TikTok or Instagram security settings. Our data collection is based on publicly posted content and does not require direct API access to your personal accounts. To stop data collection, disconnect your account through the Bounty_OS platform settings.

8. Your U.S. State Privacy Rights

If you reside in California or other states with comprehensive privacy laws, you may have the right to:

• Access/Know the personal information we collect.
• Delete your personal information.
• Correct inaccurate information.
• Opt-out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising.

9. Transferring your personal information

We may transfer information to affiliates or third parties across borders. By using the website, you consent to this transfer.

10. Security and Retention

We use standard security measures, but the Internet is not 100% secure. We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active.

If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except for transaction records which are retained for 7 years for tax and legal compliance. Post performance data may be archived after 90 days of inactivity.

You can manage your email notification preferences in your account settings. Categories include campaign updates, payment notifications, and security alerts. You may also unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link provided in each email.

11. Children

Our site is not intended for individuals under 18. If we learn we have collected information from a child under 18, we will delete it.

12. Third Party Sites

We link to third-party sites (like social media platforms) that we do not control. This Policy does not apply to them.

13. Account Deletion

To delete your account, email privacy@bountyos.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". Include the email address or phone number associated with your account. We will process your request within 30 days.

Upon deletion, we will remove your profile, platform connections, and campaign participation data. Payment transaction records are retained for 7 years for tax and legal compliance.
